Primarily intended for people aged 15-24, the floor game version of Electionville can be played either individually or in groups. However, due to its versatility, the Electionville toolkit is suitable for people of all ages and regardless of political affiliation. This makes Electionville the perfect tool for practicing core democratic values such as inclusiveness, participation, and gender equality. In fact, to engage in a game of Electionville is to engage in democracy.

The game was firstly introduced in Tirana in 2020 by the Swedish Embassy with UN Association Albania as an implementing partner. Following the success of its first edition and aiming to establish Electionville as an annual tradition of Albanian youngsters from all over the country, two smaller-scale installments of the game will be organized throughout the year, intentionally outside the capital with the view of increasing the outreach and impact of such events, as well as empowering young Albanians to re-organize future editions independently within their schools, universities and communities (as a mean of exercising democratic values).
