Donika Çina is a active visual artist in the Albanian and International Contemporary Art scene, as well as a curator and cultural activator.
She holds a Diploma in Arts form the University of Arts in Tirana, Albania. Following her educational experience in Albania, she continued studying Photography and Processed based Images at the University of Arts and Design, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Later, she pursued fellowships at the “Accademia delle Belle Arti di Macerata” in Italy and “Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig” in Germany.
Prior to her role as a Project Manager at UN Association Albania, Donika has worked as Researcher and Field Coordinator for the Balkan region for Traavik.Info, as Project coordinator for “Zeta” Contemporary Art Center and most recently, co-founded and served as the Executive Director of “Bulevard” Art and Media Institute.
Donika is the initiator of Annex, UNAA’s artistic and educational program that combines arts with human rights and holds the role of Project Manager of the “ArtNexus” program in Albania (partially implemented by UNAA).
Her areas of interest include quality education and promoting reduced inequalities.
